Left to Suffer in the Street, Seizing Dog Rescued from Cruel Abandonment

A heartbreaking scene unfolded today on a roadside where a dog lay helpless, convulsing on the ground. Those who passed by were visibly disturbed by his condition and kept their distance.

The dog appeared to be in severe pain, unable to stop twitching or choking. His breathing was labored, and he had lost control of his bladder.

His fur was filthy and crawling with fleas.

His eyes showed desperation, as if silently pleading for someone to helpโ€”but no one did. Moved by compassion, a rescuer stepped in and rushed him to a veterinary clinic.

At the hospital, the dog continued to convulse on the exam table. He was visibly exhausted and in distress. The vet estimated his age at just two or three years.

A closer examination revealed he was infested with ticks in his ears and lice all over his body. The vet believed he had been wandering aimlessly for some time before collapsing on the road.

Blood tests revealed a more serious problem. The seizures were a result of long-untreated injuries and a severe case of canine distemper that had damaged his nervous system.

The damage is permanent. There is no cure, and his condition can only be managed with medication to reduce the frequency of seizures.

Despite the prognosis, the rescue team is fully committed to his care. Theyโ€™ve made it clear they will stand by him through the challenges ahead.

His journey wonโ€™t be easy, but he finally has people who refuse to give up on him.
